Position Description:  

THIS POSITION COULD BE BASED IN SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY OR SOUTHERN FLORIDA

 

Reporting to the Forensic Audit Manager, the Senior Forensic Auditor will conduct thorough investigations of fraud and financial abuse, both civil and criminal in nature, occurring within the company's domestic and international operations.  The Senior Forensic Auditor will interact with financial and operational management personnel across the company and will be exposed to financial and business operations.

 

Key Objectives & Responsibilities

 

·         Conduct investigations of alleged or suspected violations of criminal law and corporate policies related to Asset Misappropriation, Financial Statement Fraud and Bribery & Corruption.

·         Gather, review, and analyze data in support of an investigation.

·         Prepare work papers to adequately document investigations performed with supporting evidence for all forensic findings.

·         Conduct informational and confrontational type interviews

·         Prepare clear, concise and cohesive investigative reports and memoranda in a timely manner.

·         Identify and define fraud issues and root causes, and provide effective recommendations and solutions.

·         Provide concise and meaningful updates to Corporate Audit Leadership and business management team, including senior management.

·         Required travel domestically and internationally, approximately 75%.

Requirements:

·         Possess a high energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic and changing environment that strives to exceed expectations.

·         Have 3 to 5 years experience conducting extensive, complex, detailed and confidential investigations.

·         Have the ability to apply company policies and procedures in connection with complex investigations.

·         Have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or the equivalent; higher-degreed candidates are encouraged to apply.

·         Have internal audit and/or public accounting experience.

·         Possess CFE, CPA or CIA

·         Interact well with different people and able to work in a multi-cultural environment.

·         Possess excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to present forensic findings in an objective and unbiased manner.

·         Possess strong leadership skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Have experience with data mining software such as ACL preferred

·         Must speak Spanish
